Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Director of Special Education (or designee) and a Behavior Specialist, the Behavior Technician is responsible for implementing intense behavior-based skill acquisition programs and behavior intervention plans.
Requirements / Qualifications
Current enrollment in a BCBA credential program, possession of a Board-Certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or equivalent or willingness and ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification within the 3 months of hire into the position. Completion of two (2) years college (48 semester units) or A.A. degree (or higher). Certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), (Current or Certification must be earned within three (3) months of employment).
