Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Special Education and/or School Administration, the School Psychologist will provide state and federally mandated psycho-educational services to the school, including: assessment, Designated Instruction and Services (DIS) counseling, consultation, crisis intervention, and case management for initial assessment. The School Psychologist will work with the school’s Special Education Department to improve departmental practices, policies, and collaborate with community providers to coordinate needed services.

Requirements / Qualifications

To be considered for the position, the following must be submitted with your Edjoin application: • Copy of PPS credential in School Psychology • Resume • Cover Letter • Two (2) letters of recommendation dated within one (1) year Education and Experience: -Pupil Personnel Services Credential with authorization to serve as a School Psychologist required. -Master’s degree or higher in Special Education, School Psychology and or a related field required. -Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience working within a school in a Special Education setting preferred.
