Job Summary
Under direction of the Director of Operations & Emergency Services, responsible to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly learning and working environment for staff, students, and the public. Plan, assign, supervise, and perform custodial tasks and maintenance functions; maintain assigned buildings and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, sanitary, secure, and safe condition; arrange and assist in maintaining the physical environment required for activities held at the facilities; and to do related work as required.

The Lake County Office of Education offers the following benefits to regular classified employees:
• Health and Welfare - an annual benefit cap in the amount of $17,500 for full-time employees. This may include medical, prescription, dental, and vision for each employee and all eligible dependents, based on the tier coverage selected by the employee. The employee's out-of-pocket contribution amount will vary based on the selection. Employees may purchase coverage through a 125-cafeteria plan.
• Longevity Pay (Years: 5,10,15,20,25,30,35)
• Paid Sick Leave (96 hours per year/prorated based on service days/hours)
• Paid Vacation (15 to 27 days per year, depending on years of district service)
• Paid Holidays (See District Calendar)
• Retirement plan contributions
• Employer Paid Life Insurance
• Air Ambulance Membership
