Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Business, the Executive Assistant performs various complex clerical and administrative duties; prepares correspondences and maintains a variety of manual and automated records and reports related to assigned activities; coordinates communication and information; interprets policies and regulations to officials, staff and the public; coordinates various administrative meetings; and maintains Assistant Superintendent’s calendar.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by two years of college-level coursework in business or a related field and five years of general clerical experience involving frequent public contact. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Class C driver’s license. **Typing Verification of 65 words per minute must be attached to the application. **Performance tasks may be a portion of the interview process. Applicants must submit three (3) current letters of recommendation dated within the last 12 months. District paid medical, dental, and vision prescription plans are provided for employee and dependents.
