Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Technology Supervisor, the Education Technology Specialist provides technical support and troubleshooting services for district-wide technology systems, hardware, software applications, and network operations. This position assists staff and end users with technology-related issues, supports the implementation and maintenance of computing devices and classroom technology, and provides training and guidance on district technology systems and applications. The Education Technology Specialist installs, configures, maintains, repairs, and supports computers, peripherals, network-connected devices, classroom presentation equipment, and cloud-based applications. The position works collaboratively with district technology personnel, vendors, and staff to ensure efficient and reliable technology operations that support instructional and business services throughout the district.

Completed EDJOIN Application Letter of Introduction Current Resume Three Letters of Recommendation Proof of High School Diploma or Equivalent Copy of CompTIA A+ Certification (required) Copy of Google IT Support Professional Certification (required) Copy of Valid California Driver’s License Copy of First Aid Certificate (preferred, if applicable) Copies of Additional Certifications (preferred, if applicable): CCNA Certification Network+ Certification Applicants selected for employment will be required to complete fingerprint clearance, TB clearance, and all district pre-employment requirements.
