Job Summary
Under general direction of the Assistant Superintendent/CBO The Transportation Supervisor oversees and directs the daily operations of the district’s student transportation program, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant transportation services for students and staff. Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent/CBO, this position plans, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates transportation operations, staff, vehicle maintenance, routing, scheduling, safety compliance, and related support services in alignment with district goals and state and federal regulations. The Transportation Supervisor maintains high operational standards, monitors budgets and inventory, ensures adherence to safety and OSHA regulations, coordinates training programs, responds to emergencies, and works collaboratively with district departments, contractors, and community partners to support student success and district operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in transportation operations, facilities management, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance.
