Job Summary
Under direction of the District Coordinator of Community Schools (CSC) or Designee the Community Schools Engagement Support Specialist supports family and community engagement efforts through communication, outreach, and relationship-building in alignment with the goals of the Community Schools Department. This role assists in implementing communication, marketing, and event support efforts that increase awareness, participation, and connection to MEUSD districtwide programs and services. The position contributes to building positive, culturally responsive relationships with families, students, staff, and community partners. This position requires strong bilingual communication skills and the ability to effectively support engagement with diverse communities through written and verbal communication, outreach, and event coordination.
Requirements / Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent required. Additional coursework or training related to administration, communications, data, or community engagement is desirable.

The district is located along Interstate 8, in the southeastern mountains of San Diego County, approximately 50 miles east of the city of San Diego.
