Job Summary: Laguna Joint School District in Petaluma, CA is seeking a passionate and creative classroom teacher committed to providing high-quality education to join our multi-age teaching team for the 2026-2027 school year. This teacher will be part of a small team of staff who enjoy working together and designing inquiry-based learning experiences for students. We are looking for a part time, credentialed teacher who is motivated to support our children’s potential in a multi-age classroom. The successful candidate will have experience with differentiating instruction using district adopted curriculum. The candidate will work collaboratively with the Laguna School team in using data to help drive instruction, assist in all school programs as assigned, and evaluate student progress. Several features distinguish Laguna Elementary: - We utilize a multi-age classroom model. We have students in grades TK -5 learning together in differentiated small groups.. - We share a belief that inquiry-based learning provides the best opportunities for students to grow their understanding of academic content. - Our program equally nurtures students’ social-emotional needs and academic needs. - Parent involvement is encouraged. Families greatly contribute to our school community. Experience, Education, and other Qualifications: - Valid California Multiple Subject Credential - Meet all ESSA requirements - CLAD required, BCLAD a plus - Minimum of two years of experience in the United States preferred - Current First Aid / CPR certification - Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred - Multi-age teaching experience preferred
