Job Summary
Career Technical Education (CTE) Instructors with the New Teacher & Leadership Development Department support CTE candidates by facilitating instruction in the knowledge, skills, and professional practices required to be recommended to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for a Designated Subjects Clear Career Technical Education Teaching Credential. Instructors provide coursework aligned with state CTE standards, credential requirements, and adult learning theory.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education Required & Experience Required: -Valid California Teaching Credential or clear Career Technical Education(CTE) Credential -Master’s degree preferred -Minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience, preferably in secondary, postsecondary, or adult education settings. -Three (3) years of experience working in CTE program
