GENERAL INFORMATION: Upon offer of employment: Per Immigration Reform & Control Act of 1986, if you are hired, proof of American Citizenship or right to work in the United States will be required. All persons chosen for appointment are fingerprinted to check for and/or verify conviction records. Employment is contingent upon showing freedom from TB by taking an intradermal tuberculin test, chest x-ray or examination. This position is included in the certificated bargaining unit. BENEFITS: Sick leave is earned at the rate of one day per month, and is accumulative from year to year; Personal Leave and Personal Necessity days are also earned, as stipulated in the collective bargaining agreement. Insurance: The District offers a competitive Health and Welfare plan for employees and dependents based upon the number of hours worked. Certificated Employees are eligible to join the California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS). New employees become permanent upon successful completion of a probationary period of two years.
