Luther Burbank School District is seeking a dynamic, nurturing, and student-centered educator to serve as a full-time Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Teacher. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering the academic, social-emotional, and developmental growth of young learners. The successful applicant will create an engaging, play-based, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports school readiness and builds a strong foundation for lifelong learning. The TK Teacher will collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff to provide high-quality instruction aligned with California Transitional Kindergarten standards and best practices. Requirements / Qualifications

Valid Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and 24 ECE Units or Child Development Permit issued by CTC Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Mild/Moderate Authorization with an English Learners Authorization Submit the documents listed below to your on-line EDJOIN application. The following documents are REQUIRED to be submitted with your online application: Letter of Interest Resume Three (3) current Letters of Recommendation (within the last 24 months)** Valid Credential* or Unofficial Transcripts (Required: all colleges/universities attended) (Required for all Pre-interns) Letter from Credential program currently enrolled (Required for all Pre-interns) EL Authorization (must provide proof if it is not embedded in California Credential) *Credential Copy (Must show Subject Description, Expiration Date and EL Authorization) **Letters should be from current or former Principal, Assistant Principal, Department Chair, or Program Director. If you have not taught in California (new to the profession), please include a letter from your university program supervisor, master teacher, or practicum supervisor.
