Job Summary

Greenacre Homes & School is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist for our program. This will be a part-time, contract position. This position will help draft and implement individual programs to meet the needs of students with fine and gross motor issues and self-regulation challenges. They will serve as a resource and assist families and staff in supporting our students' needs. They will serve as a member of the IEP team as appropriate and monitor student progress toward occupational therapy goals and objectives. They will maintain required reports, records, and legal documents. Greenacre School is a non-public special education school providing educationally related mental health services and school-based counseling services to boys and young men. This position requires an individual who enjoys working with disadvantaged youth, is highly organized, and has the ability to work independently. This position is a contracted position, so you must possess your own valid license of proficiency in Occupational Therapy services issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy. QUALIFICATIONS: • Graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy • Certification with the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy is desired • Possess and maintain a valid California Occupational Therapy license • One year of appropriate school-based experience as an occupational therapist is desired • One-year supervised experience in occupational therapy with children with disabilities, including pediatrics, sensory integration and motor evaluation and training • Valid Registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association • Valid and appropriate California driver’s license
