Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of the School Site Principals, the Certified Wellness Coach supports student behavioral health and well-being through skills training, care coordination, and the promotion of a positive school culture. The Certified Wellness Coach offers upstream prevention and early intervention services. The role is multifaceted, blending elements of health education, behavioral psychology, and program management. Unlike a therapist, the Wellness Coach does not diagnose or treat clinical mental disorders. The role is focused on prevention, repetition of skills learned in clinical settings, and helping students stay healthy so they do not reach a point of crisis.
Requirements / Qualifications
Application, Cover Letter, Resume, and 3 Letters of Reference. Three (3) or more years of related experience in a school setting. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Health & Human Services, Child Development, or a related field. Certified Wellness Coach (I or II) or Registered-CWC certification through the California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI).

This position is located at our Learning Center in Rohnert Park 2-3 days per week, and will require travel to our Learning Center in Vallejo 1 day per week. May include remote work.
Eligible for medical, dental, vision, CalPERS pension, and other insurance.
Eligible for vacation, sick, and holiday pay.
