Job Summary
As the Director of Special Programs, you will be the driving force behind our organization’s most vital student support systems. In this impactful leadership role, you will provide the vision and strategic direction for Special Education, MTSS, Health Services, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), and Foster/Homeless youth programs. Leading with both empathy and expertise, you will manage and inspire a dedicated, multidisciplinary team of professionals—including Program Specialists, School Nurses, Behavior Specialists, and Occupational Therapists—while partnering with campus principals to support and evaluate our special education teachers. By overseeing personnel development and serving as our primary ambassador to the El Dorado County Office of Education Charter SELPA, you will ensure every student has the resources and care they need to thrive.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants must have a California credential in special education and a California Administrative Services credential. Fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice, and TB clearance is required prior to commencement of employment. A complete application will include the documents listed below.
