QUALIFICATIONS:

Enthusiasm and leadership abilities to research and develop curriculum design for a responsive PE program
-
Responsive to student’s emotional, behavioral, physical, and academic needs
-
Proven experience teaching PE Standards
-
Proven experience involving parents and community members in classes and programs and communicating with parents/community members
-
Knowledge of and experience with leading school-wide events and fitness initiatives
-
Successful implementation of innovative and engaging curriculum to increase fitness levels in all students
-
Equity in education, belief in accepting and integrating all students in each class
-
Integrating grade level content standards into each PE lesson
-
Capability and experience to be flexible within the complex structure and scheduling of a school
-
Motivating students to value and engage in activities which promote lifelong health and fitness
-
Participating enthusiastically in school-wide initiatives
-
Experience working with elementary school students
-
Demonstrated success collaboratively planning with teacher teams
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS AND AUTHORIZATIONS:

Valid Single Subject PE Credential or Supplementary Authorization in PE or meet the qualifications for credential authorization.

CLAD or BCLAD credential or facility with a second language is required.
