Human Resources / Payroll Specialist Position Description Overview Stone Ridge Christian School is seeking a detail-oriented and service-minded Human Resources / Payroll Specialist to support the school’s human resources and payroll functions. This position is responsible for processing payroll, maintaining personnel records, supporting employee onboarding and benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with school policies and applicable employment regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to Christian education. This position reports directly to the Superintendent. Personal Qualifications 1. Be deeply committed to a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ. 2. Spend time regularly in personal devotions and prayer. 3. Demonstrate the joy and character of the Christian life in daily interactions. 4. Follow the Matthew 18 Principle in dealing with employees, students, parents, and administration. 5. Support the mission of the school in encouraging students to grow in their faith and relationship with Christ. 6. Support the school’s mission of integrating faith into all aspects of education and school culture. 7. Human Resources Responsibilities • Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and records. • Assist with employee onboarding, hiring paperwork, and credential tracking. • Support employee benefits administration and communication. • Assist with maintaining compliance with employment laws, school policies, and required postings. • Track employee leave balances, absences, and time-off requests. • Coordinate background clearances, TB records, mandated reporter training and required employee documentation. • Support annual contract and
