GENERAL SUMMARY: This is a part-time position of 5.5 hours for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a combined position of Paraprofessional and Food Service Worker. For more details for each position please see the job description. Under the supervision of the Principal or Designee, the Paraprofessional/Food Service Worker assists teachers and students in lessons, classroom activities, and provides one-on-one or small group tutoring. Plans, shops, prepares, and serves food to the students. The person in this position will be transporting students so must be 25 years of age or older to drive a school vehicle. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: To perform this job successfully, an individual must hold a high school diploma, or it equivalent, have an AA degree or higher, 48 additional college units, or a passing score on the local Paraeducator Proficiency exam. Experience with supporting the academic program, especially in alternative educational settings preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in education technology and MS Office and Google applications

Along with required doucments, the applicant must be albe to pass Department of Justice and FBI fingerprinting requirements; must have a clear driving record (Driver's License & Motor Vehicle Report/Driver Record will be necessary at the time of hiring); Pass and obtain the Food Handlers Certification; and be able and willing to transport students in a school vehicle (must be 25 years or older). TB clearance is also required.

Office staff and support staff work with students, parents, and guardians to provide a safe environment for our students to learn and grow.
