You will lead a rigorous classroom, drive measurable proficiency gains, and serve as a crucial advisor, helping students navigate the path to college and career success. What You'll Be Doing… Teach & Inspire: Develop and execute culturally relevant, standards-based lessons that challenge and engage all students. Adapt instruction to meet varied learning styles and social development needs. Analyze: Regularly administer and reflect on quantitative and qualitative student data to immediately inform instructional adjustments. Create aligned Formative, Summative, and Performance assessments that prepare students for standardized tests (e.g., SBAC) Manage: Maintain a highly structured, positive, and productive learning environment aligned with MWA culture. Partner: Proactively engage families through consistent communication regarding progress and academic goals. Growth: Actively participate in mandatory professional development and team meetings. What We're Looking For… You’ll need to have: Bachelor's degree and strong content area knowledge. Valid state teaching credential or eligibility to obtain one (support is provided for eligible applicants). Unwavering commitment to closing achievement gaps and raising student expectations. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required screenings (Live Scan/fingerprints, TB screen, CTC Certificate of Clearance, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification).
