The ideal candidate for the Pianist Program Coordinator position is an accomplished and collaborative music educator with expertise in piano pedagogy, solo and collaborative performance, and student mentorship. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of piano repertoire, performance practices, and the developmental needs of middle and high school musicians, along with experience in solo performance, accompanying, chamber music, coaching, and preparing students for high-level performances. Active professional engagement as a performer and familiarity with current trends in piano education and the music industry are highly valued. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and administrative skills, with the ability to coordinate performances, auditions, events, and student activities while supporting the daily operations of a dynamic conservatory program. The ideal candidate is student-centered, detail-oriented, technologically proficient, and committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and artistically rigorous conservatory culture. Applicants must be able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively while contributing positively to the continued growth and success of the Pianist Program and Instrumental Music Conservatory.
