Job Summary
The Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) was established for the purpose of designing and delivering a sequential, standards-based Media Arts program including foundational work in Theater, Dance and Music. This position requires frequent travel throughout a six-county service area to cultivate community partnerships and coordinate high-quality arts experiences, while providing specialized instruction and enrichment for Gifted, Talented, and High Achieving (GTHA) students This is an at-will position that reports to the Coordinator of Strategic Initiatives Horizon Charter School currently accepts up to 10 years of experience and we are a CalSTRS/CalPERS employer. This position is a Hybrid-Remote and applicants must live within 60 miles of our 6 counties we serve.

*Current California Single Subject Teaching Credential OR California Mulitple Subject Teaching Credential *VAPA Credential/Supplemental *CLAD (or similar) certification is required *Letter of Introduction *Resume *2-3 Letters of Recommendation Live scan background check, TB clearance, and transcripts are required upon acceptance of the job offer.
