The C’lectives Teacher for Transitional Kindergarten is responsible for providing instruction, leadership, and supervision to students that attend The Classical Academies. This position will support and uphold the mission and vision of The Classical Academies. The Classical Academies is an organization of award-winning, tuition-free, California Public Charter Schools serving North San Diego County since 1999. With over 5,500 students in grades TK-12, the schools are making a tremendous impact as they reinvent public education. Qualifications: - Current California PK-3 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Specialist Instruction Credential is required OR - Current California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential is required with one of the following three things: At least 24 early childhood education and/or childhood development units, a California Child Development Teacher Permit, or (for internal applicants only) professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children comparable to the 24 units of education - Prior teaching instruction experience is desirable
