This is an excellent opportunity for a person who wants to work in a small school setting that is located in the greater Sacramento area. This PE position will work with students at the Elverta Elementary School District, a school of approx. 225 TK-8 students. We are looking for someone who will providing a learning experience that focuses on a holistic approach towards physical health and creating a competitive spirit of all students. The best fit for this opportunity is a person who can lead and offer instruction that is student based and respects the needs of all students. Primary Functions: Develops students’ physical education skills through implementing District approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; developing lesson plans; addressing specific educational needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.
