  1. Two years of increasingly responsible clerical experience with library media center experience preferred.
  2. Three Professional References listed on application (In-house candidates must attach 3 professional references may use the “Professional References Form,” which is provided in the "Links Related to this Job"
  3. Resume
  4. Must be "Highly Qualified" (NCLB Compliant) having a high school diploma or equivalent AND one of the following (ATTACH one of the following): • 2 years of study equal to 48 units, or • Associates or higher degree, or • Ability to pass the instructional aide proficiency test.

  5. Must meet one of the below group requirements: • Library Media Tech I Requirements: (ATTACH Transcripts) Must be continuously enrolled in 12 units lower division library technology coursework. All remaining units must be completed within a one year period from hire date or what is practical due to course offerings.

    • Certificate Copy (Certificate in Library Science)
    •      OR Copy of Transcript (showing required units)     OR Other (Degree in Library Science)
    • NCLB Compliance (transcripts, degree or test results)
    • Resume
