Job Summary

The Chowchilla Elementary School District is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Secretary for the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP). This is a full-time, 8-hour per day, 12-month position that provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the district’s ELOP initiatives. The Secretary will serve as a key point of contact for staff, students, families, and community partners, supporting program coordination, maintaining records, preparing reports, and assisting with scheduling, communication, and compliance requirements. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to supporting high-quality expanded learning opportunities for students. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and strong interpersonal skills while working collaboratively with district and site staff to support the goals and success of the ELOP program. * Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.

Requirements / Qualifications

-(3)years of secretarial or clerical experience, preferably in a public K-12 school setting -Typing ability of at least 45WPM: No online certificates accepted -Possess a high school diploma or its equivalency -Shall pass the district administered Secretarial Test -Bilingual ((English/Spanish) is highly preferred
