Job Summary
Under the direction of the Program Coordinator-Student Wellness, the School Psychologist-Student Wellness provides a combination of mental health support and special education intake/compliance support for students. This role is split between (1) delivering social-emotional, behavioral, and crisis-related supports within an MTSS framework and (2) supporting the special education intake process, including drafting Assessment Plans (APs) under the oversight of the Program Coordinator-Student Wellness. The School Psychologist-Student Wellness collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support at-promise students, provide consultation, and ensure timely, compliant practices related to assessment and intervention. The work location for this position is designated by the supervisor and the job description to include in-person and virtual settings as needed by the School. The selected candidate must be licensed and reside in California. Placement on the pay scale is dependent on experience, along with provisions of the Compensation Policy. Salaries are prorated to reflect the portion of the year worked over the annual school calendar. Additional Stipend Information: $5,000 Paid to a school psychologist on the Student Support Team supporting student wellness initiatives. Eligibility starts at the beginning of the school year. Paid bimonthly over 10 months: August-May. Will be prorated based on period of service during the school year.

Qualifications • Experience in K–12 settings supporting mental health, SEL, and crisis intervention • Mental health and behavioral expertise • Crisis and risk assessment • Collaboration and consultation • Data-informed decision-making • Knowledge of special education law, timelines, and compliance requirements • Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, virtual environment
Education • Possess a valid California PPS Credential for School Psychologists • Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university Required Documents:
