Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the site principal or designated administrator, the CTE School Counselor provides a comprehensive range of student support services designed to promote academic achievement, career readiness, and successful postsecondary transitions. Through leadership, advocacy, and collaboration, the counselor facilitates career workshops, develops strategic industry partnerships, supports academic and transition planning, monitors student progress by grade level, provides individualized student coaching, tracks program data and compliance requirements, and manages district Career Technical Education (CTE) enrollment processes.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires a valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential for School Counseling or enrollment in a credential program. Bilingual/bicultural (Spanish) preferred.

  • Credential Copy (or proof of program enrollment)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three current letters of recommendation)
