Job Summary
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for the overall leadership, development, and compliance of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program within the Adult Education department. This role ensures that the program meets all California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requirements and prepares students with the knowledge, clinical skills, and professionalism needed for entry-level healthcare employment. The DON serves as the primary nursing authority for the program, supervising instructional staff, coordinating clinical training, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

? Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing ? Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in long-term care or skilled nursing facility ? Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or training nurse aides or healthcare staff ? Experience with program administration, supervision, or leadership preferred ? Adult Education / CTE Teaching Credential
