What you’ll Bring Minimum: Diploma or GED required Strong oral and written communication skills, including advocacy skills Ability to connect and build relationships with students and their families. Experience using data-management systems. Experience working in a fast-moving environment; crisis management experience Desired (but not required) in order of importance: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (highly desired) Two years of urban teaching, childcare, child development, or child-centered community organization experience (highly desired) Experience working with youth from historically under-served communities (highly desired) Restorative Practices experience (highly desired) Spanish or Korean Fluency (highly desired) Bilingual Spanish or Korean (highly desired)
Assistant Dean of Student Support Traits: Belief that every child deserves a safe, equitable, calm, and rigorous learning environment, which prepares them for college and life beyond.
