Job Summary
DEFINITION: Under the direction of an assigned Administrator or Supervisor, assist in the planning, organizing and coordinating of pupil transportation programs; assist in the scheduling and assigning of bus drivers; assign bus drivers to designated routes and special event trips; assist in the development and revision of bus routes; drive a school bus as needed; perform other job-related duties as assigned and/or as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education: Verification of a High School diploma, a GED certificate, or a higher degree is required at the time of employment. Supplemented by course work or training in transportation systems, organization and supervision, or a closely related field is desirable. Experience: Six years of paid experience as a school bus driver. Recent job-related experience within the last five years is required.

- Driver's License Copy (Verification of a valid Class A or B California Driver’s License with air brake, passenger, and school bus endorsement. )

FOREIGN TRANSCRIPT EVALUATION
Individuals who have completed course work at an institution in a country other than the United States must obtain a complete evaluation of foreign transcripts/degrees, prior to applying for a position, and attach a copy to the application electronically. The foreign transcripts must be evaluated by one of the approved organizations, listed on the Rialto Unified School District website, in order to be accepted. These organizations are private enterprises who charge a fee for their services. Individuals pursuing a foreign transcript evaluation must follow the procedures outlined by the organization providing the evaluation. In all instances, original, official documentation will be required when requesting the evaluation.
Special Notes
• Veterans: Must electronically attach a copy of their DD214 for examination credits.
