Job Summary
The job of Nutrition Services Coordinator performs a wide variety of tasks contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the school’s nutrition services. This includes the compilation and submission of the department’s food orders and assist in the food service program in an elementary school setting. Provides routine assistance in the preparation, packaging, and serving of food and beverages, sanitation, and/or kitchen maintenance. Serve as the District’s authorized representative to establish procedures, standards and records necessary to comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to child nutrition. This position requires that one be an independent starter, be able to multi-task, use critical thinking skills and be able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
