Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Director of Food Services plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates all district food service operations, including cafeteria programs, meal services, and related functions. The Director ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; maintains financial accountability; oversees personnel; and ensures that all students receive nutritious, high-quality meals in a safe and efficient environment
Requirements / Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in large-scale or institutional food service One (1) year in supervisory capacity; experience in accounting and inventory Fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice - appointment will be made with TCOE
Letter of Introduction Resume 3 Signed Letters of Recommendation within the last 2 years Certified Professional Food Manager Certificate/Food Handler's Certificate Valid California Driver's License and evidence of insurance Copy of current TB (within 4 years) Applicants must submit a Negative TB test (within 4 years)

A Certified Professional Food Manager Certificate is preferred at the time of hire; however, the district will support the selected candidate in obtaining certification after employment.
