Job Summary
An ELL Classroom Assistant supports English Language Learner (ELL) students by assisting teachers with instructional activities, reinforcing language development skills, and providing academic support in both small group and classroom settings. This position helps create a positive and inclusive learning environment, supports student engagement and communication, and assists with classroom management and daily instructional tasks.
Requirements / Qualifications
High school diploma/GED and a passing score on the Classroom Assistant Paraprofessional Exam, an Associate's Degree (or higher), or 48 or more eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university.
