Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance, Operations and Transportation (MOT), the Lead General Maintenance Worker provides leadership, coordination, and oversight of custodial, grounds, and maintenance operations across assigned sites. The Lead performs advanced maintenance and custodial duties while serving as the primary liaison between site staff and the MOT Director; coordinates daily work assignments, monitors work quality and completion, provides training and guidance to staff, and ensures facilities are maintained in a safe, clean, and operational condition.

Application Resume 3 current signed letters of recommendation, dated no later than 1 year Copy of High School Diploma or equivalent Valid California driver's license

Contingent upon meeting all the above requirements DOJ/FBI clearance TB skin test clearance This classification differs from the General Maintenance Worker in that it includes lead responsibilities such as assigning, prioritizing, and reviewing work, training staff, and coordinating site-level operations. This position does not supervise in a formal evaluative capacity but provides day-to-day direction and support. ***SEE JOB DESCRIPTION FOR COMPLETE REQUIREMENTS***
