Job Summary
Under the general supervision of a site administrator, the responsibility for coaching/training student-athletes in the designated sport is assumed. Promote a positive culture and healthy environment for student-athletes to excel in; demonstrate and encourage good sportsmanship in all situations. Support student success and develop constructive relationships with students, parents, and community members.
Requirements / Qualifications
Successful candidates will submit the following to be considered for a position: 1. Resume 2. Letter of Introduction 3. Current Letters of Reference - two required for this position A negative TB Test and Live Scan are required. Online Coaching Certificates: 1. Heat Illness Prevention Course (completed each school year/season) 2. Concussion in Sports Course (completed each school year/season) 3. CPR/First Aid Certification (every 4 years) 4. Fundamentals of Coaching View Course (one-time requirement) 5. Sudden Cardiac Arrest View Course (completed each school year/season)
