Job Summary

Under the direction of the Superintendent, plan, coordinate, and administer the fiscal services of the District, including accounting, budgeting, accounts payable, risk management, and workers compensation.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field. Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in business administration. Previous experience in school business administration is desirable.

Under the direction of the Superintendent, develops and prepares the District budget and interim revisions. Prepares projects District revenues, expenditures, and cash flows. Participates in bargaining unit negotiations. Prepares agenda items for Board meetings and attends Board meetings as required to present information and answer questions. Participates in health insurance committee meetings. Processes payments to vendors. Monitors student attendance data and prepares district attendance reports. Administers property and liability claims and attends related JPA meetings. Administers workers compensation claims and attends related JPA meetings. Preforms journal entries. Coordinates visits from outside auditors. Prepares and submits various reports to outside agencies along with performing other duties as assigned.
