A complete application consists of: Letter of Interest, including your philosophy of teaching as it relates to alternative education. Portfolio including: Evidence of effective classroom instruction in the areas of humanities (English, history), math, science, etc. For example, common formative assessment data, summative CAASPP data. o Artifacts, documentation, and reflections showcasing interest, evidence, or experience in alternative education and academic interventions (criteria for intervention, intervention model, and outcomes). Attach relevant samples. Selection for this position will be through portfolio review and interviews.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants must hold or be eligible for a Single Subject California Credential. A credential in Science or CTE is preferred, while all single-subject credentials are welcome to apply. Minimum of five years of teaching experience. Experience and/or training working in the alternative education setting preferred.
