We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team in the Stockton area, supporting students across K–12 settings. Whether you’re an experienced OT or newer to the school setting, Ascend provides the mentorship, resources, and clinical support to help you succeed and grow in your career. What You’ll Do: Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations assessing fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, and functional school participation skills Provide engaging individual and group therapy services to support students’ independence and access to the educational environment Develop and implement IEP goals targeting fine motor development, sensory integration, self-help skills, executive functioning, and classroom participation Collaborate closely with teachers, SLPs, psychologists, aides, and families to support student success through a team-based approach Recommend and implement accommodations, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology to maximize student participation and independence Maintain timely documentation, progress reports, and compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams Create meaningful, student-centered therapy sessions that encourage confidence, engagement, and growth Why OTs Love Ascend: Competitive compensation + sign-on bonus opportunities and relocation assistance Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) Strong mentorship and multi-tiered c
Requirements / Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Active California OT License required Passion for working with pediatric and school-based populations Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to supporting students with diverse developmental and educational needs
