Job Summary

Job Summary

Springs Charter Schools is seeking a collaborative, systems-minded leader to serve as our Learning and Design Specialist. This role provides strategic leadership in the development and coordination of network-wide professional learning systems for Springs Charter Schools. This certificated leadership role is responsible for designing the structures, processes, and tools that guide the creation and delivery of professional learning programs—including live virtual trainings, asynchronous modules, blended events, and annual initiatives aligned with the LCAP, WASC action plans, and California School Dashboard indicators. As part of a growing organization of 1,400+ employees and a Top Workplace award recipient for nine consecutive years, this position partners closely with principals and senior leadership to ensure high-quality, engaging, and compliant academic programming that supports student success and equitable access across all academies.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: * Valid California Clear teaching credential required. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in teaching, instructional coaching, or professional learning leadership. * Demonstrated expertise in coordinating professional learning across a school or organization. * Skilled in adult learning design, digital tool integration, and virtual/hybrid training systems. * Proficiency with Google Workspace, Canva, Canvas LMS, Airtable, and instructional design software (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia) is highly desirable. * Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field preferred. * Valid California Administrative Services Credential preferred. * Certifications in instructional design, adult learning, or digital learning platforms (e.g., Canvas, Articulate) are a plus. Required Licenses and/or Certificates: * Required to operate a vehicle in the performance of duties; operator must possess an appropriate valid California Driver’s License and maintain possession of such license during the course of employment; * Have an acceptable driving record; * Must be insurable at standard rates by District’s insurance carrier and maintain such insurability during the course of employment. * All candidates must reside within our service areas, including Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino or Los Angeles Counties.
