Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Business/Support Services and assigned to the Director of Maintenance, Operations, and Facilities, the Supervisor of Operations oversees, directs, and participates in the maintenance and repair of District buildings and grounds. The Operations Supervisor coordinates, prioritizes, and schedules cleaning and special projects; supervises and evaluates personnel; maintains budget expenditures; and ensures the efficient and effective use of staff, supplies, and equipment to provide optimum service.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: • Any combination equivalent to the completion of high school. • Three (3) years of experience in building, grounds, or custodial maintenance with increasing responsibility, five (5) years preferred. • Three (3) years of experience in supervising personnel or the ability to lead and direct teams. • Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for the qualifications listed above. Licenses and other Requirements: • Valid Class C California Driver's License. • Qualified Applicator Certificate, preferred. • Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses and/or certificates. Full-time position includes district-paid health, dental, and vision insurance benefits up to a $16,075 district contribution.
