.8 FTE School-Based Occupational Therapist for Fall 2026 - New Grads welcome! Star Academy, a non-profit, non-public school, located in San Rafael, CA, serving students with learning differences in grades 3-post-secondary, is seeking a .8FTE, Occupational Therapist for Fall 2026. New grads are welcome to apply. We are seeking a patient, kind, and thoughtful clinician to provide occupational therapy to students with motor and sensory difficulties that impact their ability to access the curriculum. Star Academy is a highly collaborative environment, and we are seeking a team player who can work effectively with other specialists and classroom teachers. Star Academy’s mission is to help Special Education students with complex learning differences experience academic success through a multisensory approach. Candidates must have the following qualifications: • Hold a valid California license in Occupational Therapy and a minimum of 1 year of prior experience (clinical internship experience is accepted), preferably in a school-based and/or pediatric setting. Desired Skills: • Experience working with students with learning differences, social- cognitive challenges and executive function deficits in grades 1-12 • Knowledge of current evidenced based practices in Occupational Therapy • Extensive knowledge of assessment tools and report writing • Experience facilitating OT groups
