Welcome to the Mount Pleasant School District! We are a Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade district with three Elementary Schools, one Middle School, and one Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade Dependent Charter School. Nestled in the East Foothills of San Jose, we prepare approximately 1,500 students for high school, college, and careers. Job Summary
Administers, coordinates and plans the development, allocation, and reporting of complex financial activities for the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) programs and school districts; advises and serves as expert resource to SELPA and school district administrators on special education financial and business related matters. Prepares and distributes a wide variety of financial reports including the allocation and disbursement of Special Education funding; performs all other job related duties.
Requirements / Qualifications
Baccalaureate Degree in Accounting or related field and five years of increasingly responsible accounting experience in a school district or county school office. Experience in Special Education finance preferred.
