Job Summary

Job Goal: To teach elementary students (K-6) enrolled in the Dual Immersion program and assist in other school programs as assigned. Candidates must be fluent in Spanish - reading, writing, and speaking - and have an understanding of culture of Spanish-speaking countries.

Requirements / Qualifications

To be eligible, the candidate must possess: - A valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential; - One of the following certifications issued by CTC and authorizing primary language instruction in Spanish: Bilingual Authorization; BCLAD; Bilingual Crosscultural Specialist Credential; or Bilingual Certificate of Competence

Applications must include a brief statement which includes an overview of experiences, education philosophy, talents and skills; three recent (within one year) letters of reference; resume; California teaching credential, BCLAD Certification, university transcript(s)
