Job Summary

Under the supervision of Ed Services, the Teacher on Special Assignment will support and enhance teaching and learning by providing instructional coaching, professional development, and collaborative planning opportunities that empower teachers to implement effective, research-based instructional practices. The Instructional Coach will work alongside educators to improve student achievement, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and align instructional strategies with district goals and state standards. The Coach will work with their respective departments at middle schools and high schools to act as a guiding member of PLCs as well as developing guidance and support for their department.

To be eligible, the candidate must possess: - A valid California Teaching Credential; - EL Certification
