A JV head coach for football leads and develops junior varsity players by teaching fundamental skills, team systems, and game strategy. They plan and conduct practices, coach games, and focus on building discipline, teamwork, and football IQ while preparing athletes for advancement to the varsity level. The coach also emphasizes sportsmanship, accountability, and personal growth both on the field and in the classroom.
Requirements / Qualifications
Prior football coaching experience at the high school level or higher is preferred, though qualified candidates with comparable experience are encouraged to apply.

The salaries to be paid for extra duty assignments are based on a percentage of Column Il of the existing salary schedule. Internal candidates will be considered first with Certificated personnel being priority followed by classified and other personnel.
