Job Summary

A High School Math Teacher instructs students in grades 9-12 in various mathematical concepts—ranging from Algebra and Geometry to Calculus and Statistics—while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a positive, inclusive classroom environment. They are responsible for developing engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards, assessing student progress, and preparing students for college-level work or the workforce.

Requirements / Qualifications

PLEASE NOTE: Applications submitted without the required materials stated by the deadline will not move forward for paper screening. Cover Letter Resume Copy of Credential (must be SS in Mathematics) Three letters of recommendation (must be current within 2 years or we will not accept them) Must have five years teaching experience to apply. Must be able to teach all levels of high school math. Bilingual (Spanish) is desirable. Experience in teaching Integrated Math aligned with the Common Core State Standards is preferred.

Mandatory Orientation Day - Date TBD Separate stipends for Masters and Doctoral degrees Full family health coverage as well as employee dental, vision & life insurance The District grants up to ten years prior teaching experience.
