Under the direction of the Associate Superintendent of Learning Support Services, the Director of Curriculum and Educational Technology provides visionary leadership and strategic direction for a comprehensive instructional program. This role ensures the coherent integration of rigorous curriculum, innovative instructional practices, and meaningful technology use to advance student learning, and college/career readiness. The Director supports the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of standards-aligned curriculum, high-quality professional learning systems, and districtwide educational technology initiatives. This position champions instructional coherence, fosters cultures of thinking and innovation, and ensures that technology enhances sound pedagogical practice.
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: • Valid California administrative services credential. • Master’s degree in education or related field. • Minimum of three years of successful site or district leadership experience. • Demonstrated experience in curriculum leadership and professional learning design. • Experience leading instructional technology initiatives. • Experience in a secondary (middle or high school) setting. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • California Administrative Services credential. • Valid California driver's license.
