Job Summary
The Education Specialist Teacher provides case management for and provides direct and indirectservices to students with disabilities. The Education Specialist develops and implements Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with other staff members.
Requirements / Qualifications
Appropriate California Credentials: Education Specialist - Mild Moderate Support Needs (MMSN) Embedded or added authorization: English Learner Authorization Embedded or added authorization: Autism Authorization (AAAS) Embedded or added authorization: Education Specialist Bridge Authorization Mild to Moderate Support Needs (highly preferred) Understanding of general special education assessment concepts and methods Tuberculosis (TB) test clearance is required Department of Justice (DOJ) Live Scan clearance is required A complete application file consists of: -Cover Letter -Certificated online application through EdJoin -Current Resume -Three letters of reference
