High School Bible Teacher Position Description Overview Stone Ridge Christian School is a Pre-K–12 school with a tradition of faith and excellence in Merced County, California. We are seeking a High School Bible Teacher who will build upon the mission and standards of the school. This teacher will create a Christ-centered classroom environment, foster the academic and spiritual development of students, and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support Stone Ridge Christian School’s mission and goals. The Bible Teacher reports to the Campus Administrator. Personal Qualifications: Be deeply committed to a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ. Spend time daily in personal devotions and prayer. Follow Matthew 18 Principle in dealing with student-athletes, coaches, faculty, parents and administration. Motivate students to accept God’s gift of salvation and to grow in their faith. To implement curriculum for students through the lens of faith, bringing faith to life in real and meaningful ways. Integrate biblical truth into all aspects of instruction and student engagement. Support the academic, spiritual, and personal development of students. Encourage students to develop their God-given gifts and pursue excellence. Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and responsibilities. Work collaboratively with various staff. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, vendors, contractors, stakeholders and the Board. Professional Responsibilities: Curriculum Development: Design and implement Bible curriculum aligned with Stone Ridge’s mission and ACSI standards. Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that promote biblical literacy, spiritual growth, and application of Scripture. Classroom Instruction: Teach high school Bible courses. Provide engaging, thoughtful, and interactive instruction that encourages critical thinking, discussion, and a deeper understanding of Scripture. S
