This position is under general supervision of the Director of Risk Management and Safety, performs accounting clerical work of above average difficulty in the preparing, keeping, reviewing, and maintaining statistical records; related work in maintaining records and files for personnel; and does related work as required. Communicates directly with employees and third party service providers. Employees in this class have the major responsibility of administering the district’s benefits programs. He/she is expected to solve routine or repetitive problems without assistance, but unusual or unique problems are referred to a supervisor. A variety of general clerical duties may be assigned which require the exercise of initiative and a general understanding of the rules, policies, and procedures of the District. Training and Experience: Completion of the twelfth grade, including or supplemented by business/personnel courses or any combination of experiences that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Three years of varied and progressively responsible clerical experience. California School District Human Resources Office experience is highly desirable including familiarity with the California Credentialing System and school district association contracts. Ability to pass required District physical. This position is at the District Office Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. year-round.
