Job Summary
Opportunity Education provides a supportive environment with specialized curriculum, instruction and guidance to help students overcome barriers to learning. It is an intervention to ensure that students will succeed when they return to their regular classrooms. The Opportunity teacher serves students who are: habitually truant, irregular in attendance, insubordinate, disorderly, failing academically or struggle in the general education setting.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education -Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited College or University Current California Multiple Subject Credential or ability to obtain one CLAD or EL Authorization
Required: . Letter of Interest . Copy of Transcript (Include BA and post - BA units) . Copy of CA Credential(s) . English Learner Authorization or the ability to obtain one . Three Letter(s) of Recommendation . Resume
